Our Company

Founded in 2013 in Riga, Latvia, Genba Ltd has rapidly grown into a leading pan-European logistics and refrigerant supply powerhouse. From day one, our goal was to bridge a critical gap in the HVAC industry—providing a truly end-to-end solution for both ADR-compliant transportation of hazardous HVAC gases and F-Gas–certified refrigerant distribution. Strategic European Hubs: In addition to our headquarters in Riga, we maintain major distribution and consolidation centers in Amsterdam (NL), Munich (DE), and Barcelona (ES). These facilities allow us to stage, inspect, and repack refrigerant cylinders under strict quality control before dispatch.
Certified ADR Fleet: Our logistics division employs over 150 ADR-equipped vehicles—ranging from purpose-built vans to 20-ton tractor-trailers—operated by a team of 200+ professional drivers. Our Company

History

2013: A small team of refrigeration engineers and freight specialists recognized the European market’s need for a single supplier capable of handling both ADR transport and F-Gas-regulated refrigerant sales. We obtained our initial ADR certification, purchased two purpose-built lorries, and secured our first F-Gas license under EU Regulation 517/2014.

2014–2016: Rapid growth led to the opening of our Amsterdam distribution center in 2014 and a Munich warehouse in 2016. At this time, we began offering reclaimed refrigerants—collecting, distilling, and certifying used HFCs under AHRI 700-2018 standards.

2017–2019: We expanded our product range to include HFO blends (R1234yf, R1234ze), launched volume-pricing programs for large-scale distributors, and introduced real-time online tracking for all ADR and freight shipments. By 2019, annual ADR shipments surpassed 1,200 loads, and our refrigerant sales grew to over 3,500 metric tons per year.

2020–2022: Despite pandemic challenges, SIA Genba invested in a new, 5,000 m² modern warehouse in Barcelona to serve Southern Europe. We also launched a digital customer portal—providing instant quotes for refrigerant purchases, ADR scheduling, and F-Gas documentation downloads.

2023–Present: Our focus shifted to sustainability—piloting a closed-loop refrigerant reclamation program that diverted over 500 tons of HFCs from destruction. We now maintain the largest stock of reclaimed R404A and R410A in Europe, used by major supermarket chains, pharmaceutical cold-storage providers, and HVAC OEMs.
